Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before stepping onto your mat at Yogveda.

What should I bring to my first class?
We provide all the props you'll need (blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets). We recommend bringing your own yoga mat and a water bottle. If you don't have a mat, we have premium Liforme mats available to rent for $3.
I'm a complete beginner. Which class should I take?
Welcome! We highly recommend starting with our 'Hatha Foundations' or 'Yin Restorative' classes. These are slower-paced and focus heavily on alignment, breath, and modifications. Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can show you around.
How early should I arrive for class?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled class time to check in, set up your mat, and settle in. For the peace and safety of all students, the studio doors are locked exactly when class begins, and late entry is not permitted.
Do you have showers and locker rooms?
Yes! We have full locker rooms with keyless lockers, two private showers (stocked with organic body wash and shampoo), and a vanity area with hair dryers so you can easily transition from the studio to the rest of your day.
What is your class cancellation policy?
We have a 12-hour cancellation window for all regular classes. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time, or do not show up, a late fee of $15 will be charged (or drop-in pass forfeited). This ensures all students have a fair chance to practice.
Can I pause or cancel my unlimited membership?
Yes. Monthly unlimited memberships can be paused once per calendar year for up to 30 days at no cost. If you need to cancel entirely, we just require a 30-day written notice sent to our email.
